Traditional sport booking involved going to a Sports Booking Operator who would then give you odds on a certain game. But with the repeal of PASPA the sports betting industry is now legal in Nevada and in some other states. The repeal of PASPA has spurred a new wave of activity, as the 4 major American sports leagues and the major professional teams are collaborating with bookmakers for sports and establishing their own official booking channels. The popularity of sports betting online continues to grow and in-person casinos are responding with increased demand and opening new locations to meet this demand.

Online sports betting has been legalized in Iowa from the year 2019. This allows online operators to accept bets in the state. The online operators are supervised by the Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission. in Michigan is legal in three casinos as well as online casinos. The state began its sports betting program in March of 2020 just prior to the Coronavirus Pandemic. Mississippi tried its hand at mobile wagering in 2018, but hasn’t fully embraced it.
